Heating is by a wood burning stove, an open fire & electric heaters.

Outside there is a large grassed garden & a private car parking area.

Further afield there are some superb scenic walks along quiet Devon country footpaths, lanes & on the stunning South Devon coast path. Bigbury Bay with its magical sandy beaches is about 4 miles away, and the wonderful wild open spaces of Dartmoor are 12 miles to the north.
